§Eat well
The dining area.
The heart of the property — where mornings start with mountain coffee, and evenings linger over conversation.
§Around the table
A home, not a restaurant
The dining area is the centre of life at BlueMountView — a communal, mountain-view space designed for slow conversation. It's a great place to spend the day too: relaxing, reading, or playing dominoes and other board games.
We grow much of what ends up on the table — coffee from the slopes, fruit and vegetables from the garden, eggs from our own hens, honey from our hives.

§How it works
Three ways to eat with us.
- 01
Complimentary first morning
Your first morning's breakfast is on us — a relaxed start to your stay with fresh fruit, breads, and our own coffee.
- 02
Self-catering kitchen
After the first morning you're welcome to use the communal kitchen to prepare your own meals. There's plenty of space, and the local shops are walkable.
- 03
Pre-order Jamaican meals
Rather not cook? We can arrange traditional Jamaican cuisine through a local chef — pre-ordered in advance. Vegetarian meals are available for stays of up to three nights with notice. Special diets can usually be accommodated — just tell us when you book.
§The view
Mountains over breakfast
Whatever you eat, you eat it with a view. The dining room sits open to the Blue Mountains — a quiet pre-dawn watching the mist clear, or a long, lazy lunch with the afternoon light coming sideways through the trees. Most guests find themselves staying for hours.
Plan your meals with us
When you book, tell us how many nights you're staying and any dietary preferences — we'll come back with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
